WHERE WE'VE BEEN
Our opening production of "Lyric League sings GLEEfully" in Statham was more fun than can be described in mere words. That show was followed by two more in Athens and Winder. And now we have four successful performances under our suspenders. The sale of Mary Padgelek's prints brought in much appreciated donations for Women to the World. Since our organization in January 2005 the League has performed in a wide variety of venues, with an ever-expanding repertoire. From the lush to the sassy, a cappella and with dazzling accompaniments, inspirational, upbeat, heart-rending, jazz, Broadway, and oldies, the group has shown remarkable ability to get the most out of whatever music they're singing.
