Lyric League is an adult choral group, organized by Dell and Nelson Hitchcock in January 2005. Members are from Athens and surrounding areas. Customary rehearsals are in Athens and Winder. We have performed a wide variety of musical styles, including many benefits for various organizations.

From our dreams before our first rehearsal in January 2005, Lyric League has grown so much from the original concept of a group singing mostly folk songs to an astonishing repertoire. We still love our folk songs, but we now have many show tunes, inspirational, novelty songs, pop, jazz, and on and on. UPS makes regular stops with new music. We offer our members a chance to sing from a truly eclectic selection of music, to develop their individual skills, and to fellowship with a group of mutually supportive friends.
